Andrés D. Santiago López received a B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Puerto Rico – Mayagüez Campus in 2018. In 2021 he obtained a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude. During his law studies, Mr. Santiago participated in the Summer Program between the UPR and the University of Barcelona, served actively in student leadership at the UPR representing the law school at the Student General Council, and interned with the Hon. Jay A. García Gregory at the U.S. District Court for Puerto Rico. Furthermore, while still a student, he worked with white collar criminal cases as a clerk in the offices of Mr. Juan Matos de Juan, Esq. Before joining AMG, Mr. Santiago engaged in a tenured clerkship with the VII th Panel of the Puerto Rico Court of Appeals. As an attorney in our firm’s litigation department, Mr. Santiago represents clients at the trial and appellate level on matters related to torts, contracts litigation, administrative law and constitutional law.
