Ms. Casellas Cabrera’s primary practice areas include general civil and commercial litigation, in federal and state courts, with an emphasis on intellectual property, contracts, personal injury, and securities litigation. She has also participated in various administrative proceedings before government agencies in Puerto Rico and represented clients in a broad range of disputes, including: insurance, creditors law and collections, class and group actions, medical malpractice, civil rights, and constitutional law.
She has an extensive intellectual property practice, actively participating in the process of securing both local and federal registrations, counseling and assisting clients in issues regarding infringement claims in litigations before state courts, federal courts, the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board.
Ms. Casellas Cabrera’s joined AMG in 2012. Prior to that, she served as a law clerk in Mercado, Soto, Ronda, Amundaray & Pascual, P.S.C.
