He was recognized by Chambers & Partners Latin America 2014 and Global 2014 guides as one of the top power litigators in Puerto Rico.
Sharlene M. Malavé-Vallines concentrates on civil and commercial litigation. Ms. Malavé-Vallines practices extensively before the federal and state courts of Puerto Rico, both at trial and appellate levels. Ms. Malavé-Vallines practice focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation, creditor’s rights and bankruptcy. Ms. Malavé-Vallines has represented and advised financial institutions, purchasers of distressed debt or assets, secured and unsecured creditors on a range of insolvency and creditor/debtor rights issues arising in reorganizations, bankruptcy proceedings, foreclosure and collection actions, and commercial litigation.
